The other day I was at a friend's house and she had a staircase like the one above. I have a love and hate relationship with this type of stairs. I love curves and circles. I think they look different, and gives the space a sense of movement and dynamism. But when you are trying to go up and down in heels... I hate it!
Narrow stairs... not my favorite. But can you see how interesting it looks?
Wider curved staircases are better.

I love these! I agree with you about going up and down the steep, narrow ones in heels, but I love curved staircases :)
